Amy Bisazza

Amy Bisazza is an acoustic singer-songwriter. Soul, Gospel, Blues, and Spiritual music across all genres are her main influences. Her music is soulful, meditative and uplifting.

She is the songwriting half of mantra duo EARTH whose 2016 debut album Maha Mata includes tracks such as Adi Shakti, organically reaching 300k+ streams on Spotify.

Based in Somerset, UK, she is interested in the healing aspects of music, and is dedicated to sound healing practices. She says, “Positive intention together with sacred sounds/words/vibrations creates healing. In this way music can be a lifeline, a lighthouse and a profound healing medicine.”

Track Information

The melody and chorus came while cycling through London ten years ago: “After going through some very challenging life experiences, the song came to life for me, like a divine teaching, reminding me to lean into Faith and Love.”

The verses landed during the recent lockdown. Inspired to finally record it early this year, she could never have predicted that the final mix would land in her inbox on the 24th of February – the day Putin invaded Ukraine.

“Unknowing of what was unfolding on the world scene, I feel the lyrics, tone and intention of this song are very pertinent for this moment in time, perhaps it can bring some hope and positivity.”

The timing spurred her to release this song of hope and comfort ASAP – scheduled for the 18th March 2022.

To date, Bisazza has only recorded one English track – the majority have been mantra in languages such as Sanskrit, Gurmukhi and Pali. Although this song is in English, she strongly feels the words are also like a mantra, particularly the chorus:
