Traditionally chanted to invite the pure light of the Divine Mother to illuminate our path and open our hearts and minds, to meditate and focus all our prayers and intentions on God.
Auṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ
tát savitúr váreṇyaṃ
bhárgo devásya dhīmahi
dhíyo yó naḥ pracodáyāt ||

This version (from Maha Mata) also includes the long (complete) form of the mantra which invokes this awakening or illumination through the chakras (energy centres) of the body. You may wish to sense or visualise energy moving upwards from the root to the crown as follows:
